the Women in the Workplace , and the Gender Intelligence Report.

 

🔍Women in the Workplace Report

is the largest and most comprehensive study of the state of women in corporate America. Conducted annually by Lean In and McKinsey & Company, the report has tracked the progress of women in the corporate sector for a decade. The 2024 edition is based on data from 281 companies and a survey of 15,000 employees. Here are several key findings:

 

📈Women have made significant gains in senior leadership roles, with nearly 30% of C-suite positions now held by women. However, progress at entry and managerial levels remains slow.

🌈The report provides an in-depth look at the specific biases and barriers faced by women from different backgrounds, including Asian, Black, Latina, LGBTQ+ and disabled women.

🏢Despite some progress, commitment to diversity is declining at many companies, making gains fragile and highlighting the need for sustained efforts.

 

🔍Gender Intelligence Report

provides transparency on gender diversity development in the Swiss workplace as well as concrete recommendations for companies and individuals. The 2024 edition is based on data from 370,000 anonymised employees, including 138,000 in management positions, from over 90 Swiss based companies. Here are several key findings:

 

📈Women comprise about one-fifth of top management positions

💰The power gap culminates in an incredible 54% bonus gap

💡Women aspire for power but get less support
