The evening started with a welcome speech from Barbara (Basia) Favre co-leader of Lean In Network, Switzerland (Bern, Lucerne, Zurich)🇨🇭 and Relations Manager at Advance – Gender Equality in Business, who introduced everyone to Lean In and the concept of Lean In circles.

Lean In Circles are safe spaces for women to come together and support one another on a regular basis. They usually gather once a month and have no fees. The Lean In Switzerland team supports Lean In circle leaders with resources and best-case practices, and during the event, we heard wonderful stories and successes from three Lean In circle leaders.

Aga Sieradzka 🍀 Experience Belonging, Personal Coach, book author, and Growth Mentor shared her insights on how Lean In Circles can facilitate an individual sense of belonging. And it was a great tone for the upcoming panel discussion.

📢 The panel discussion was moderated by Lidia Zabala, Lean In Switzerland Co-Leader, Health and Wellbeing Lean In Circle Leader, and IAmRemarkable Facilitator. The discussion brought together (co-)leaders of circles who shared their takes after the first year of being in a circle.

👏 Big applause to the panelists:
Celine Choisel-Lüssi: Women in Banking & Asset Management Lean In Circle Lead, CEO and Founder of Success Lab, Executive Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner.
Stefanie de Roquancourt:  Healthcare & Lifesciences Lean In Circle Co-Lead and  E-commerce Commercial Lead at Tecan.
Katia Vlachos, Ph.D.: Entrepreneurs Lean In Circle Lead, Reinvention Coach, Author and Speaker.

Following the inspiring panel discussion, Anna Stando (Lean In Switzerland Co-Leader and Diversity & Inclusion consultant) introduced the event's interactive part: the pitches of new Lean In Circles! 1️⃣ 2️⃣ courageous women took the stage to present their Lean In circle ideas, each ready to embark on a journey of personal and professional development, with our full support.
