Andrea started her own business Marketing Waters two years ago, after leaving her marketing career in the pharmaceutical industry as it was incompatible with starting a family at that time. She will share about her entrepreneurial journey, beginnings and learnings, and esp. include also practical guidance on when starting your own business can be the right step and what to expect from it, based on her wide experience working with solo business owners and start-ups on starting a business right in Switzerland.

Andrea is a Marketing Strategist helping esp. startups and solo business owners start and grow their business in the right direction. She helps by building a marketing strategy, for both the online and offline world, that is action-based and right for the particular business as there is no one-size-fits-all.​ Andrea runs her small company Marketing Waters, based in Zurich and helps both businesses in Switzerland and internationally.She also organizes two entrepreneurial communities in the Zurich area to support starting and established business founders via regular targeted events.Andrea has rich experience in marketing incl. online marketing,and business growth. Her previous experience includes hands-on as well as global marketing roles in innovative companies in the pharmaceutical industry, marketing and leadership roles in education and nonprofit organizations with low budgets, both in and outside Switzerland.
