Lean In Networks are powered by 170,000 women and allies committed to advancing equality. Across 93 Networks in 38 countries, members drive change locally and contribute to a global movement. Real change happens community by community, Network by Network.

Lean In Networks are supported by LeanIn.Org, the nonprofit organization founded by Meta ex COO Sheryl Sandberg to empower women to achieve their ambitions and work to create a more equal world. The Lean In Network Switzerland (Bern, Lucerne and Zurich) is proud to be part of the official Lean In Network.

What is a Lean In Network?

Lean In Networks are independently run volunteer organizations that work to further Lean In’s mission to build a more equal world. Networks support women who live in the same city or work in the same industry, by connecting them through events and Lean In Circles – small peer groups that meet regularly to learn and grow together. Lean In Network Switzerland (Bern, Lucerne, Zurich) is part of a global program of more than 90 Lean In Networks across the globe.

What Lean In Networks do to support their local Lean In communities:

• Host events to bring together their local community and the broader virtual community including networking events, speaker series and workshops. 

• Actively support Lean In Circles by connecting Circle Leaders and sharing best practices.

• Work with the LeanIn.Org team to further their global mission while building their own grassroots community.

​Who can be a member of our Network?

​To join our Lean In Network, search for Lean In Network Switzerland in the Network Directory and request to join. Once approved, you’ll be able to connect with members and access shared resources. We use our page to share events and opportunities.
